What happens
in a QHHT session

A QHHT session is an unhurried afternoon devoted entirely
to you. Here is how it unfolds,
from the moment you arrive
in Cammeray to the recording
you take home.

QHHT, the Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique, was developed by Dolores Cannon over decades of hypnotherapy work. Every session follows the same carefully held structure. What comes through within it is entirely yours. Michelle Pearce trained with Dolores Cannon in person and has facilitated QHHT at her practice in Cammeray, on Sydney's Lower North Shore, since 2011.

If you have not yet read the overview, start with QHHT in Sydney. This page walks through the session itself.

1 The beginning

Arriving

Sessions take place in a quiet, private room at Michelle's practice at 69 Palmer Street, Cammeray, with free street parking nearby. There is nothing you need to bring except yourself, something loose and comfortable to wear, and the questions you would like to explore.

Many people arrive a little nervous, or unsure what to expect. That is completely normal, and it tends to settle quickly. The first part of the session is simply a conversation.

For what to do in the days before, see how to prepare for a QHHT session.

2 Getting to know you

The pre-talk

Before any hypnosis, you and Michelle spend unhurried time talking. You share what has brought you here: your life story, your family, your work, your health and wellbeing, your relationships, and the questions that keep returning.

This is far more than a formality. Michelle listens for the threads that connect what you describe, and together you refine your list of questions so that they reflect what matters most to you right now. For many people it is the most attentive conversation they have had about their own life in years.

The pre-talk is also where trust is built. By the time you lie down, you know who is guiding you and why.

3 Going inward

Settling into deep relaxation

You lie down comfortably, and Michelle guides you through visualisation, breathing and focused relaxation. Your body grows heavy and still, while your mind becomes quieter and more inwardly focused.

This is the same natural state you pass through every day in the moments between waking and sleep. You are not asleep and you are not unconscious. You remain aware, you can speak, move and open your eyes, and you can pause or end the session at any time. No one can make you say or do anything you do not want to.

4 The first journey

A past life or meaningful scene

From this relaxed state, many people find themselves in a scene. It may feel like another lifetime, a place they have never been, or imagery that is more symbolic than literal. Some people see vividly; others feel, hear, or simply know. Every way of experiencing is valid.

Michelle asks simple, open questions: what do you notice, where are you, what happens next. She does not suggest what you should find. You describe what unfolds in your own words, and the story takes shape as you go.

In QHHT, the scenes that surface are understood as the ones most relevant to your present life. You are free to interpret them however feels true to you. Read more about past life regression, and about how QHHT differs from a regression session.

The session is carefully structured. What comes through is entirely yours.

5 The heart of QHHT

The conversation with your subconscious

This is what makes QHHT distinctive. After the scene, Michelle asks to speak directly with your subconscious, the part Dolores Cannon described as holding the wider picture of your life. She then works through your questions one by one.

The answers come through you, in your own voice, yet many people notice they carry a different quality: calmer, clearer and more compassionate than everyday thinking. Some answers are simple and practical. Others reframe a situation you have carried for years.

Within Dolores Cannon's method, the subconscious is also invited to turn its attention to the body, as an intention for wellbeing. This is part of the tradition of the technique. It is not a medical treatment and does not replace care from your doctor or other health practitioners.

6 Coming back

Returning and integration

When the questions have been explored, Michelle gently guides you back to full waking awareness. Most people feel deeply relaxed. Some feel light and energised; others feel tired or emotional. All of this is normal.

You then sit together and talk through what emerged. This integration is often the most grounding part of the session: a moment to connect the scenes and answers to your present life, and to notice what already feels different. Give yourself time before heading off, and if you can, keep the rest of your day quiet.

7 The weeks that follow

After you leave

The hypnosis portion of your session is audio recorded and delivered to you privately via Dropbox shortly after your visit. It is for your personal use only.

Returning to the recording is an integral part of QHHT. Much of what surfaces carries layers of meaning that only reveal themselves on the second or third listen, sometimes weeks later. Many clients keep a journal alongside it, noting what shifts in their thinking, their relationships and their sense of direction.

Some people come back for a follow-up session months or years later, when new questions arise. Follow-up sessions can be booked here.

Before you book

Questions about the session

Will I be asleep during a QHHT session?

No. Your body rests deeply, but your mind stays aware and often more focused than usual. You can speak throughout, and you can open your eyes or pause at any time.

What if I don't see anything?

Not everyone experiences vivid images. Some people feel sensations or emotions, hear words, or simply have a sense of knowing. Michelle works with whatever way your experience arrives, and the conversation with your subconscious does not depend on seeing pictures.

Is my session confidential?

Yes. Everything shared during your session is confidential, and the audio recording is created for your personal use only.
